Soffietti - Steiner
Soffietti winner in Sestriere
8/3/2007 6:09:18 PM

Marco Soffietti, 29 years, won the Sestriere International Open. He played a pecfect game on the short course of the italian ski station. With a total of 18 under, he lead by 4 strokes his nearest competitor, Roland Steiner.

Steiner has been playing an incredible golf for months. Whereas he never climbed on the first step of a podium, he is tonight the leader of the order of merit.

This place is a free ticket, an exemption for the 1st qualifing stage of the European Tour. Four others guys are smiling because they are in the Top 5 of the ODM. Frenchmen, Julien Quesne, Benoit Bozio and Bruno Lecuona, Englishman Craig Farrely.

Regrets for another english, Phil Rowe, he missed this exemption by 113 euros...
