TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE
Total Field Size 120:
- 40 players from the Alps Tour Final Order of Merit 2006
- 9 Wild Card from Alps Tour countries (satellite tour)
- 9 wild card from others Satellite Tour (EPD Tour – Europro Tour – Nordic League)
- 26 players from the French Tour 2006 (wild card include)
- 10 players from the Indian Ocean (Madagascar/Maurice/Réunion/Seychelles)).
- 20 players from the Sunshine tour
- 6 amateurs
If the number of subscribers was lower than 40, the steering committee reserves the right to cancel the tournament.
FORMAT
72 Holes Stroke Play / 18 holes a day. Cut after the second Round:
- The 50 first professionals and ties for the 50th place;
- Amateurs who qualify in the top 50 or ties, will be added to the field.
In case of a tie for the 1st place after completion of the 72 holes, sudden-death play-off will decide.
ENTRY & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
Entries for the “Open de la Reunion” close on Thursday 16th november at 6.00 pm (golfpro@ffgolf.org).
All competitors must register their intention to play Tuesday 5th december 6.00 pm local times with Tournament Office on site.
Entry fee: 70 €
ENTRAINEMENT
2 pro-ams will be organized: Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the available funds it will be possible to play 9 holes, except pro-am (tbc).
Practice Range opening times are:
Monday 10h00 – 18h30
Tuesday - Saturday 1 hour prior to the first tee time to 18h30
Sunday 1 hour prior to the first tee time to 13h00
PRO-AM
Two tournaments Pro-Am will take place on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th December.
The Pro-Am prize fund:150 € appearance fee
40 teams maximum / pro-am. We try to make all the players play coming from Europe at one pro-am.
We will try to have all players coming coming from Europe, playing in the pro-am.
MEDICAL
Doctor on call.
CADDIES & TROLLEY PULLERS
No caddies, no caddy master.
They are approximately 40 trolleys available on site.
PRIZE MONEY
Tournament prize money will be paid from FFGolf head office after the event.
There is a withholding tax of 15% for non-residents + 2,5% for the FFGolf.
