After a sunny but cool and very windy final day Bruno Lecuona is the outstanding champion of the Golfresort Waidhofen-Open. With a round of 70 he won the tournament with 282 and 6 under par and 4 shots ahead of countryman Christoph Brazillier and the Belgian Laurent Richard.
The highlight of the day in view of the Austrian spectators and TV was an albatross scored by Roland Steiner on the final 18th hole!
