TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE
Total Field Size 144 :
- 25 players Alps Tour Exemption (Cat 0, 1 & 2)
- 15 players Alps Tour Wild Cards (France, Italy, Switzerland, Morocco)
- 35 players Alps Tour QS (cat. 4)
- 55 Players National Field including amateurs and 3 promoter Wild Cards (cat. 5)
- 14 Players AT QS (cat. 6)


FORMAT
54 Holes Stroke Play / 18 holes a day. Cut after the second Round:
The 40 first professionals and ties for the 40th place
Amateurs who qualify within the top 40 or ties, will be added to the field

In case of a tie for the 1st place after completion of the 54 holes, sudden-death play-off will decide.


ENTRY & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
Entries for the Uniqa FinanceLife Styrian-Open close Friday, August 26th, noon
All competitors must register their intention to play till Wednesday, September 7th, 6.00 pm local times at the Tournament Office on site.
Entry fee: 70€

PRACTICE
The course will be available for practice on Wednesday, September 7th and Thursday 8th (till 12:30h)
No practice on Thursday afternoon (Pro-Am)

Practice times must be booked through the Club Secretariat:
- daily from 08:00h onwards
- Wednesday, from 07:20h onwards

Practice Range opening times are :
. Wednesday to Sunday 1 hour prior to the first tee time to 8.00 pm


PRO-AM
The tournament Pro-Am will take place on Thursday, September 8th.
A total of 28 professionals will compete. At least 10 spots are reserved for non-Austrian Alps Tour players.
Prizes for the best 3 teams and their professionals.
Special Prizes: Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive: Amateurs and Pros


MEDICAL
Doctor on call, first aid available.


CADDIES & TROLLEY PULLERS
No caddies are available, but app. 80 trolleys are available on site


PRIZE MONEY € 45.000,--
The Tournament prize money will be paid from the GC Murtal office after the event.
There is a withholding tax of 20% for non-residents.
