TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE
Total Field Size 144:
- 30 players Alps Tour Exemption (Cat 1 & 2);
- 50 players Alps Tour (15 France, 18 Italy, 12 Switzerland, 5 Morocco);
- 59 Players National Field including amateurs (cat. 4 – 7);
- 5 Wild Cards Promoter/Sponsor/Club.
FORMAT
54 Holes Stroke Play / 18 holes a day. Cut after the second Round:
- The 40 first professionals and ties for the 40th place;
- Amateurs who qualify within the top 40 or ties, will be added to the field.
In case of a tie for the 1st place after completion of the 54 holes, sudden-death play-off will decide.
ENTRY & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
- Entries for the GOLFERLEBNIS WALDVIERTEL-Open close Tuesday, August 10th - noon;
- All competitors must register their intention to play till Sunday, August 22nd - 6.00 pm local times with
the Tournament Office on site or Waltraud Neuwirth;
- Entry fee : 70€
PRACTICE
- The course will be available for practice on Sunday, August 22nd only against prior booking and
Monday, August 23rd, 07:30h – 16:00h. The course must be cleared by 4 p.m. for maintainance.
- Practice times must be booked through the Club Secretariat.
- Practice Range and Par-3-course available.
Opening times are Sunday to Thursday 1 hour prior to the first tee time to 8.00 pm
NO PRO-AM
MEDICAL
Doctor on call, first aid available.
CADDIES & TROLLEY PULLERS
- App. 80 trolleys are available on site free of charge, however, a deposit of € 60,-- is required.
- There may also be a few caddies available (Fee € 20,- per round). Inquiries and pre-booking at the
GC Waidhofen.
PRIZE MONEY
- The Tournament prize money will be paid from the GC Waidhofen offices after the event by a bank
cheque.
- There is a withholding tax of 20% for non-residents.
- Please find attached a prize fund breakdown.
