TOURNAMENT FIELD SIZE
Total Field Size 144:
- 30 players Alps Tour Exemption (Cat 1 & 2);
- 50 players Alps Tour (15 France, 18 Italy, 12 Switzerland, 5 Morocco);
- 59 Players National Field including amateurs (cat. 4 – 7);
- 5 Wild Cards Promoter/Sponsor/Club.


FORMAT
54 Holes Stroke Play / 18 holes a day. Cut after the second Round:
- The 40 first professionals and ties for the 40th place;
- Amateurs who qualify within the top 40 or ties, will be added to the field.

In case of a tie for the 1st place after completion of the 54 holes, sudden-death play-off will decide.


ENTRY & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
- Entries for the Intercontinental Open close on Friday, August 27th, noon
- All competitors must register by Wedenesday, September 8th, 18.00h, with the
tournament office on site or by phone +43(0)3382-8533 or +43-(0)664-281 68 81 (Waltraud Neuwirth)
- Entry fee: € 70


PRACTICE
- The course will be open for practice on Wednesday, September 8th till 18:00h (course maintainance)
and on Thursday, September 9th prior (two-tee-starts 8:00 – 9:00h) and after (17:30 – 18:30h) the Pro-Am.
- Practice times must be booked through tournament office (+43-3382-8533)
- Driving Range open daily from 07:00h – 20:00h,
during the tournament at least one hour prior to the first tee time


PRO-AM
“Intercontinental-Pro-Am” on Thursday, September 9th. Shotgun start at 11:30h
- 18 Holes stroke play for 36 teams consisting of 1 professionals and 3 amateurs
- Counting is the best net score per hole

Prizes: for the top 3 teams
Goods (Vourchers) for amateurs and
prize money for professionals:
1. € 1.000,--, 2. € 750,--, 3. € 475,--
Hole-in-One-Prize for Professionals: TBC
12 spots at least are reserved for players from Alps-Tour-countries

GALA EVENING
September 9th at the Hotel Intercontinental Resort & Spa
Attendance fee for accompanying persons: € 85,--


MEDICAL
Doctor on call, first aid available.


CADDIES & TROLLEY PULLERS
- App. 80 trolleys are available on site free of charge, however, a deposit of € 60,-- is required.
- There may also be a few caddies available (Fee € 20,- per round). Inquiries and pre-booking at the
GC Waidhofen.


PRIZE MONEY
Prize Money will be paid cash by the Sponsor at the clubhouse after the event
