GORDON
MANSON WON GOESSER OPEN

With a new course record 64 (8 under par) Gordon
Manson won the Goesser Open at GC Erzherzog Johann
in maria Lankowitz. The total of 205 and eleven
under secured his fourth victory in the history
of the Goesser Open after 1998,1999 and 2001. As
sole runner-up finished the Italian matteo verardo
with 207 stroke. Third place are sharing the Italian
Marco Crespi who first equalled the old course record
of 65 and Frenchman Nicolas Jokimides. Gordon Manson,
the Austrian National Amateur Team Coach, a born
Scotsman started the round 7 strokes behind over-night-leader
Joakimedes and began with eagle, birdie, birdie,
whereas Joakimides dropped too many strokes in the
first nine holes.
